ABCHealth, in partnership with GBCHealth, Wilton Park, and Total Impact Capital to catalyze greater investment in private sector healthcare in West Africa is hosting the Africa Investment (Health) Masterclass – AIM.
Our objective is to support African entrepreneurs to create strong value propositions and compelling pitches to health-focused investors with the purpose of accessing funding and scaling investment that will strengthen Africa’s position as a leading manufacturer of health commodities. AIM is positioned to run on a sub-regional basis across sub-Saharan Africa and continue until a sense of measured results are achieved.
This masterclass/academy brings bring together subject matter experts (SMEs), business leaders and senior investment managers with health entrepreneurs to engage on how to build and present successful investment pitches to interested investors. An extended part of the masterclass/academy creates an opportunity to sensitize and create the right level of awareness to investors (global and regional) to foster their interest and consider health in Africa as a lucrative area of investment.
The initiative builds on the Wilton Park series of events ‘Mobilizing Private Capital for Public Health Goals in Africa’ and includes well researched pre-reads, periodic class-like sessions, a 1-day pitch event and up to 2 months’ mentorship for the health entrepreneurs who meet the criteria for entries.
AIM – Health will hold in November 2022 as a hybrid event (virtual and physical) with its first physical site in Lagos, Nigeria and would extend to other parts of Africa for more impactful and scaled results.
